SUNDAY TRAINING - 23 JULY 3:30-5:30pm
We will be conducting our third ministry training session in July with the focus on the issue of discipleship. Our Senior Pastor Matt Lehmann will be opening up the concept of discipleship as "intentionally doing spiritual good to others". There will then be electives for discipling children, youth and one another. Everyone is invited so put this date in your diary, we'd love to see you there. Free child minding provided with dinner served aftwerwards.
CURRY NIGHT - SUNDAY 6 AUGUST 5:00-7:00pm
Everyone from the local community and our church is welcome to join us for a meal together at the RSL. All curries will be donated by church members so it's only $3 a head to help cover other costs. There's over 40 curries to choose from and we'll have a 5pm and 6:30pm sitting for dinner. All the details and online ticketing are available here. We hope you can join us.
MONTHLY PRAYER MEETING - MONDAY 7 AUGUST 7:30pm
We will be having our next monthly prayer meeting next Monday at George and Glenys' house at 7A Hampton Street Hawthorn. It will start off with Bible reading, prayer for general church matters at TIS, CMS matters then specific prayer for the families listed in the family prayer book. We usually have two sessions. Everyone is welcome.
MIDWEEK SERVICE - WEDNESDAY 9 AUGUST 11:00am-12:00pm
We will be having our next midweek service next Wednesday here at the main hall of the RSL. This is a more traditional style service aiming to connect with those who would enjoy a traditional service with the same focus on Jesus. There will be a free hot soup and bread rolls for lunch after the service. Please invite your family and friends along.
PARENTING TEENAGERS NIGHT - THURSDAY 14 SEPTEMBER 7:30-9:30pm
Building on the interest of last year's parenting night for 0-12s and recognising that those with teenagers also want to think about that particular stage, Paul & Sue Harrington will be sharing their experiences raising three teenagers. We'll also have some other couples who have successfully navigated this stage up the front for a Q&A. This will be held at Holy Trinity in the city.
